YAY – It is that time of year again when I finally can start blogging and I am super crazy excited to share with you Eleanor & Jack’s Villa Farm wedding photography!
Eleanor & Jack’s day started with a crazy, fun and emotional morning. Eleanor’s bridesmaids were such a laugh and they kept her smiling all morning and even shed a tear or two when she gave them lovely personalised gifts. But their tears were not the only ones that morning – Jack opened his gift from Eleanor and had the actual sweetest response ever. Every bride’s dream come true – some seriously manly tears.
Their ceremony was held at St. Wilfred’s church in Brayton and after some explosive confetti, they couple were driven in their stretch VW Bug (I know! I love it too!) to Villa Farm just north of York. Villa Farm is one of our absolute favourite wedding venues – featuring a beautiful lake with a jetty just right for taking some awesome photos.
I am in love with Eleanor’s style – from the vintage boho wedding dress, long flowing locks and perfectly unstructured wedding crown – it is all just too gorgeous. I also love it when brides give a lot of love to the bridesmaid’s dresses and the gold sequinned frocks worn by Eleanor’s girls were amazing and I can imagine they have seen a lot of use since the big day (who doesn’t look amazing in gold sequin?).
A bouncy castle, ice cream and a mobile bar kept the party spirits high all day and the evening ended with a very crowded and very rowdy dance floor (just as I like it!).
Now before I go, I have to mention that Jack is NOT a “natural” in front of the camera – and I know that is something a lot of our clients worry about. But would you know it from these photos? Not a bit! We promise – it is easier than you think it is!
